Offering vocational cooking classes over many years has taught me that everyone has a food story. Memories of special family meals, certain dishes ritually offered at special celebratory occasions, first experiences preparing food or memorable travel stories with food memories front and centre.

No matter where we live, food is a major part of our cultural identity and sense of place.
