At the 2016 Truffle Kerfuffle festival presented by Genuinely Southern Forests, I was a featured chef and presented two satellite dinner events over the Truffle Kerfuffle weekend. This also included participating in an engaging panel discussion with James Viles (Biota Dining) and Rodney Dunn (The Agrarian Kitchen), hosted by Rebecca Sullivan (Warndu) around the identity drivers of regional food. I also enjoyed taking part in a Stories of the Southern Forests session hosted by Jon Doust, which was part of a wider project recording history from the region for the Shire of Manjimup.
The thing I love most about the Truffle Kerfuffle is that it’s a very inclusive regional food event that captures the authentic heart of our region through a variety of experiences from grass roots to the work of leading state and national chefs.
